Role Of Cheshire Cat In “Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland”

Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland made me realize that I’m very similar to these characters. It’s because I’m against many “norms.” The Cheshire Cat stood out for me among all the characters.

Alice meets the Cheshire Cat after leaving the Duchess’s home. The cat lays on its back, glancing at Alice from a branch. This is how I feel, a longing to disappear and escape the daily troubles that plague us all. Although you cannot physically disappear like Cheshire Cat, there is still a way to create the illusion. Magic and illusion were a fascination for me as a youngster. One of my childhood fantasies was that some people could make objects disappear and then reappear before my eyes. I wanted to be able do superhuman magic acts. I looked through many magic boxes and even convinced my parents to hire an magician for my eighth birthday. Everyone wants to be invisible at some point in their lives, for pleasure or because they are frustrated with life. This is a memory that I have from my childhood. I find myself to be smart and mischievous like the Cheshire Cat. Although school has been difficult for me in the past, I have always done well in all subjects. This makes me a hard worker, something that isn’t evident in the Cheshire Cat. One of the reasons I get in trouble in my life is because of pranks. Many of them would cause injury. April Fool’s Day was something I took very seriously. I often teamed up with my cousin to pull off the most outrageous pranks on my family. This is why I consider myself to be mischievous.

Alice is lost, confused, and the Cheshire Cat tells her where to go. My upbringing has influenced me to find great joy and help others. I was very young and taught the value of helping others. It helped me a lot in my life. Although Alice is a great help, it’s partly the fault of the Cheshire Cat. I can sympathize with the cat. My advice often leads to troublesome situations.

Before I read Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, I didn’t realize how much Carroll’s characters resembled me, particularly the Cheshire Cat. I learned that my childhood is something I often think about when talking to the Cheshire Cat. This may be because many of my best moments as a child were those times when the worries and stresses of adulthood were small. Many positive aspects about myself were also discovered, which was something that I had not yet realized. Although his contribution to the story is minimal, the Cheshire Cat’s impact on me and on popular culture has been significant.
